Traces of Poland in New York

I had a bit of a break and enjoyed a week in New York. But even while there you can’t escape all things Polish.
Every five minutes I saw ads for Sobieski, the Polish vodka, which seems to be getting a big marketing push in New York (and I’m guessing elsewhere in America too):

Er, something’s gone wrong…

…with the Flickr plug-in I’m using on this blog to display pictures tagged ‘Poland’ on Flickr.
Not sure why, but this morning I noticed some random hairy legs and scary-looking toddlers there, neither of which was tagged with any word that could even loosely be associated with the subject of this blog.
