Poles apart

What does it feel like to be in a foreign country, trying to get a job?

Thoughts? Have you seen their performance? I’d be curious to know…

Hi! My name’s Daniel and I’m one of the actors that is in Poles Apart, it’s a shame you can’t come and see it. It’s been going very well amongst our English and Polish audience members but any feedback, much appreciated.

Peace.

Third attempt to download, took over an hour! Amusing and good natured, but really you have to know someone who knows someone etc. They didn’t try for any rubbish jobs and they didn’t speak any Polish either! Impossible!

*cough*

Miranda, without wanting to sound dismissive, the intention was to generate material for a show and not really get a job, although Mark did get one on a building site.

To make good theatre you need failure not success otherwise the show would be very dull.

All the best!

If you go in any country is hard to get a job without knowing the language, but these days it is hard to get a job in your own country also…
