Fact or myth? Polish winters are harsh

Posted by: Michał In: fact or myth?

I wrote about it some time ago here, so I won’t be repeating myself. The short answer is: they can be, but in general nowadays they are only slightly colder than their British equivalents.

Anyway, all this is just a lame excuse to share this video with you. Enjoy.

Wow – looks beautiful. Poland is a place on my visiting list but I must admit I don’t think it will be through their winters, was thinking Spring flower time.

Not convinced! Could be anywhere, the telegraph pole gave it away that it wasn’t UK! We have deer, snow, pine trees in Scotland, but not the vast Polish Plain. Bit disappointing. Also the second time I watched it there were people throwing snowballs and the next time they had disappeared! Wonders of technology.
