Wódka is king

Posted by: Michał In: it's a sign!

Another day, another sign. OK, this one is a couple of months old, the picture is not great (mobile, after work, grumpy), but that was probably the first advert for a Polish wódka (not ‘vodka’) I saw in London.

Sobieski, named after a Polish king, was – surprisingly – advertised in Polish. ‘Król jest tylko jeden’ – there’s only one king. An advert in Polish in Paddington? Must be a first.

As a gift from a friend who attended a weedin in Cracow, i received a bottle of Sobieski Wodka. The wodka is great BUT we dropped the bottle and it shattered. I could buy and have bought Sobieski wodka but cannot replave the bottle which had a large Polish Eagle molded into the back of the bottle. It mus only be sold in Poland but I owuldlike to purchase the wodka but only in that bottle.

Any suggestions other than going to Cracow.
